Victoria and Michael- Purrfection!
“If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you. When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me. And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles. Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one.” -Led Zeppelin
One fateful night Mike walked into the dark interior of the Continental for a late night cap with some friends and met the girl of his dreams. Whether it was their shared passion for Dr. Who, Nintendo, or their three awesome cats that ultimately solidified their love, they knew the one thing they always wanted to have in common is each other. And so they got married! Both being professionals in the wedding industry gave them a unique perspective on planning all the details, and all their hard work paid off as they gathered with their closest friends and family and danced the night away. I have been so excited to share this wedding- my first experience photographing another photographer! What an awesome wedding, they are a purr-fect match and will surely take the world by storm. (WARNING: I strongly recommend having a love for cats to fully appreciate this wedding)
Dr. Who charm… best something blue!
I loved Victoria’s jewelry for the reception.
One of the bridesmaids gave me her best Lady Starck impression, “Winter is coming…”
The lovely and very talented Nika Vaughan did Victoria’s makeup.
Mom came over to take a peek…
All hands on deck.
Mike was waiting patiently in the Crimson Lounge…
The artsy stoic shot…
I love the colors in this space!
Playing around at Union Station…
Kristen from Kio Kreations did such an amazing job with the flowers.
We even snuck a “maypole” into a few photos…
It was super windy and giant waves were crashing behind them but they didn’t mind.
Then it was time to get married.
And now for some fabulous details…
Victoria and Mike commissioned these wonderful portraits of themselves by a mutual artist friend, Julia Haw. Their friend Patrick Rush created the portraits of the cats.
The feline version of Botticelli…
These figurines were placed by the cake to represent their cat family.
Jeremy took a quick break from video to pose with Mike.
Emily from Toast and Jam DJ’s was spinnin’ some mad tunes…
Congrats Victoria and Michael!
(Stay tuned for the video of this wedding, Jeremy assures me it will be the best one he has ever made!)
